What started off a a simple cyanotype print idea, developed into something more complex and special...

If you follow my work, you'll know I love playing with the cyanotype process.  I have long wanted to experiment with embossing on my cyanotype prints, and these little fishes seemed to present the perfect opportunity!  I carved an embossing plate of the fish shapes in lino, positioned the damp cyanotype print on top and ran it through my etching press at very tight pressure to achieved the emboss.  I absolutely love the result and I hope you will too!
