"Sparrow" Cyanotype/linocut combination mini print

A cute, affordable original print which I have  developed from a sketch I made some time ago. With a focus on mark-making, the cyanotype background has been "toned" with a strong black tea solution to create the rich, earthy shades I wanted, rather than the traditional Prussian Blue of the cyanotype print. My original sketch featured a cheeky little male House Sparrow, which I decided to carve as a separate stamp and print onto the cyanotype background. I used a rich, chocolate colour for the relief ink which contrasts perfectly with the warm, buff colour of the tea-toned paper the print is made on :)
